<p>The cine camera is fitted with a pistol grip pointing forwards at a downwards angle at the front edge of the camera. A special shoulder strut is hinged at the rear bottom edge of the camera and comprises a bent shaft fitted with a threaded, adjustable rest which pressed against the shoulder when the strut is swung out of its stored position flat against the rear of the camera, and locked in its operating position. Both settings of the strut are secured by spring loaded ratchets. The system, when not in use, folds flat without obstructing the viewfinder, and when used enables the user to obtain stabilised hand held cine shots.</p> |
