The invention enables all chimney stacks or frames to be fitted to all types of roofing. A lead strip matches the shape of the roofing (tiles, slate tiles, etc.). This strip is rolled out and fastened together with a sheet which is fixed to the stack itself. Perfect weatherproofing (flashing) and fitting to the roofing is thus obtained. <IMAGE>
