PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the property of the PDP as a display device and improve the manufacturing method, by measuring more effectively and precisely the impurity gas, especially moisture contained in the PDP. SOLUTION: After discharging the PDP at a slightly lower pressure (discharge gas pressure: 1,000 Pa) than the normal discharge state (discharge gas pressure: 4,000 to 7,000 Pa), the PDP is analyzed using QMS(quadupole mass spectrometer). |
