The device comprises a separating member (2) and a collecting member (3) driven by the boat (1), in which, according to the invention, the separating member is constituted by a narrow and elongated plate extending outside the boat and forming an acute angle //c with respect to the direction of motion of the boat, the plate being associated with means allowing it to be maintained partially submerged with an angle of incidence //c with respect to the surface, the collecting member being constituted of a gutter (3) attached to the flank of the boat and communicating with an internal capacity. The invention can be used especially for collecting floating hydrocarbons from the sea surface. |
