<p>PURPOSE:To enable the user of an automobile to surely make a horizontal and vertical setting of a head lamp by carrying out readjustment with the use of an adjusting screw so as to compensate a head lamp for an individual difference of a vehicle body upon attachment of the head lamp onto the vehicle body on an assembly line, and by attaching an alignment mark indicating thus obtained set value on the automobile. CONSTITUTION:In the case of replacement of head lamps due to damage or the like, a head lamp 1 for repair is set at its original position by means of a horizontal jig 21. A horizontal arrow mark of a horizontal index 7 of the head lamp 5 for repair is not naturally aligned with a horizontal alignment mark 8 on an automobile 20 due to an individual difference of the automobile. By surely setting the horizontal arrow mark 6c of the horizontal index 7 to the horizontal alignment mark 8 with the use of a horizontally adjusting screw 3b, the compensation for the individual difference may be made,that is, the horizontal setting is completed. Namely, no level is required for horizontal setting of a head lamp, and further, the installation of the head lamp can be made without a lens 2 being adjusted to the horizontal set position. Accordingly, the setting may be made to be simple, thereby the setting of the head lamp can be made even by the user for an automobile.</p> |
