METHOD FOR CHECKING CONNECTION IN HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for checking a connection in a household appliance control system is provided to monitor the state of a multi air conditioner system by checking a connection state of each air conditioner for controlling the multi air conditioner system, sensing whether the connection is abnormal, and setting the multi air conditioner as a standby state before performing a driving command. CONSTITUTION: A user operates a Java program embedded in a terminal device for controlling a plurality of air conditioners through the terminal device connected to an Internet network(S1). Threads about the air conditioners connected to the Internet network are generated and operated(S2). The generated threads transmit a connection request signal to household appliance embedded communication modules embedded in the air conditioners through the Internet network(S3). It is judged whether the household appliance embedded communication modules respond to the transmitted connection request signal and senses whether the connection of the air conditioners is successfully performed(S4). If the household appliance embedded communication modules respond to the transmitted connection request signal, a message window on which it is displayed that the connection is successfully performed is outputted on a Java control screen of the terminal device(S6).
