PURPOSE:To manufacture a magnet roll with high productivity without using any adhesive by fixing a columnar composite magnet material to the circumference of a shaft and inserting them into a metallic mold after heating, and incorporating the molding which is obtained in an orientation magnetic field under pressure in a sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The columnar composite magnet material 7 is fixed to the circumference of the shaft 8 of SUS, etc., in one body. In this case, the end diameter A is made smaller than the center part diameter B. This is heated up to about 120-220 deg.C and inserted into the metallic mold 12 together with a pressing jig 13. Then, an orienting magnetic pole 10 is used to generate the magnetic field for orientation and the pressing jig 13 is pressed simultaneously to press the magnet material 7 so the space of the metallic mold 12 is filled, and the molding after being taken out and cooled is incorporated in the prescribed sleeve to obtain a magnet roll. Thus, the magnet roll is manufactured with high productivity without using any adhesive. |
