<p>Chair (10) includes multi-position seat (12) and a frame assembly (14) for supporting seat (12) in a selected position. Seat (12) includes bottom (22) and back (26). Back (26) includes a guide channel (120, 122) receiving a portion of frame assembly (14) therein. Frame assembly (14) includes pedestal (32), a frame (34) arranged to pass through, slide in, and pivot in guide channel (120, 122) formed in back (26), at least one seat support link (74), and latch assembly (118). Each seat support link (74) has one end pivotably coupled to frame (34) and another end pivotably coupled to seat (12) to allow seat (12) to be moved relative to frame (34) between selected positions. Latch assembly (118) releasably couples back (26) to frame (34) to block pivoting and sliding of frame (34) in guide channel (120, 122) and pivoting of each seat support link (74, 84) relative to seat (12) and frame (34).</p> |
