PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air bubbles from intruding into the sealant held between first and second substrates or to reduce an intruding air bubble amount. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a liquid crystal panel comprises placing first and second substrates 1, 2 opposite to each other via at least a sealant 3, positioning the first and second substrates 1, 2 between themselves, subsequently sticking them together to manufacture an empty panel, hardening the sealant 3 and subsequently injecting the liquid crystal into the empty panel. In this case, when the sealant 3 is formed, the operation is conducted under atmospheric pressure or below.
