PATTERNED MOLDED BODY HAVING LAMINATED STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To use the reinforcing fiber of an intermediate reinforcing layer along with mica powder as a pattern for the purpose of designing by adding the mica powder to at least either one of the intermediate reinforcing layer and a casting layer. CONSTITUTION:A patterned molded body has such a structure that a gel coat layer 1 composed of a transparent resin, an intermediate reinforcing layer 2 composed of fiber reinforced plastic, a casting layer 3 composed of a transparent unsaturated polyester resin and a rear reinforcing layer 4 composed of fiber reinforced plastic are successively laminated from the surface. In this laminated constitution, a mica powder 5 is contained in the intermediate reinforcing layer or in the casting layer. At the time of the contact of the mica powder with a glass fiber, the fiber can be visually looked according to the difference in a refractive index or reflectivity and a new pattern is developed by the mica powder and the glass fiber.
