PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmittance of a collision load to a side collision airbag sensor when a vehicle side part collides with an obstacle such as a pole, and to shorten a detection time by the side collision airbag sensor.SOLUTION: A structure of a vehicle side part comprises a closed cross section side sill 3 which is arranged at a lower edge of a door opening part 2, and constituted of a side sill inner panel 31 and a side sill outer panel 32 which extend along a vehicle fore-and-aft direction. A side sill strengthener 33 which is sandwiched by the side sill inner panel 31 and the side sill outer panel 32, and divides a closed cross section structure of the side sill 3 is arranged along a vertical direction, a side column airbag sensor 6 is pasted on a face inside the side sill inner panel 31 in a vehicle width direction, the side sill inner panel 31 and the side sill strengthener 33 are connected to each other via a brace 8 in the vehicle width direction, and the side collision airbag sensor 6 and the brace 8 are co-fastened to the side sill inner panel 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
