PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method that can reduce a time required for display.SOLUTION: The present device is a network device that performs communication with an external device connected via a network, and comprises: creation means 40 that creates notification to request to the external device acquisition of display information for displaying on display means 44; addition means 41 that adds relevant information relevant to the display on the display means 44 held in the network device to the created notification; transmission means 42 that transmits the notification to which the relevant information is added to the external device; and reception means 43 that receives display information in response to the transmitted notification from the external device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
