PURPOSE:To transfer a working fluid at a high efficiency, by a method wherein a group of grooves slanted from a heat-releasing part toward a heat-absorbing part are provided in a rotary heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:When heat is absorbed and released while rotating the heat pipe at a high speed around an axis of rotation O-O', the working fluid 3 liquefied at the heat radiating part A is collected between ridges 4 of the grooves while being dispersed into the grooves under centrifugal forces. The fluid 3 thus collected is made to flow from the part A toward the heat-absorbing part C under a smoothening effect of the centrifugal forces. In this case, the fluid 3 passes through a heat transfer part, while flowing over the ridges 4 which gradually become lower. As a result, a difference is generated between the liquid level in the part A where the fluid 3 is replenished through continuous liquefaction and that in the part c where the fluid 3 is continuously vaporized. In addition, the fluid 3 flowing over the ridges 4 rides onto smooth slanted surfaces at the peaks 4' of the ridges 4. Accordingly, the fluid 3 is transferred from the part A to the part C at a still higher efficiency under the effect of the centrifugal force. |
