摘要 This device for determining the service life of a double pipe for liquefied hydrogen, said double pipe being provided with an inner pipe in which liquefied hydrogen can flow, an outer pipe externally fitted to the inner pipe with a space therebetween, and a vacuum layer formed between the inner pipe and the outer pipe, is provided with: a first pressure detection means which detects a first pressure inside the vacuum layer a plurality of times and at least once when the liquefied hydrogen is not flowing through the pipe; and a control means which controls the first pressure detection means. The control means is provided with: a rate-of-increase calculation means which calculates the rate of increase of the pressure inside the vacuum layer on the basis of the plurality of detected first pressures; and a determination means which, in cases when the calculated rate of increase of the pressure is greater than a first threshold value, determines that the double pipe for liquefied hydrogen has reached the service life limit thereof.
