PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post wall waveguide type antenna in novel configuration where a conductor that transmits/receives an electromagnetic wave is formed in any other shape than a linear shape.SOLUTION: The antenna comprises a first waveguide and a conductor. The first waveguide includes: a conductive first wall part in which a first opening is provided; a conductive second wall part that is positioned while being spaced apart from the first wall part; and a plurality of conductive pillar parts that are spread over the first wall part and the second wall part. A first waveguide path is provided along the first wall part, the second wall part and the plurality of pillar parts. The conductor includes: a first extending part that is inserted into the first opening and extends from the outside of the first waveguide to the inside of the first waveguide path; and a second extending part that is positioned inside of the first waveguide path and extends from the first extending part in a direction that is different from an extension direction of the first extending part. The conductor is separated from the first wall part, the second wall part and the plurality of pillar parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
