PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a calculation cost required for passenger number estimation.SOLUTION: An estimation method comprises: an acquisition step of acquiring the number of moving bodies from an image in time series; a staying time estimation step of estimating a staying time during which each of the moving bodies has stayed in an imaging area; and a passage estimation step of estimating the number of moving bodies that have passed by using the number of the moving bodies acquired in the acquisition step and the staying time of the moving bodies estimated in the staying time estimation step. |
