PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved powder metallurgy method for producing a high-density molding body while minimizing the content of a lubricant added to metal base powders and maintaining the levels of the taking-out force and molding pressure equal to or more improved than heretofore.SOLUTION: A powder metallurgy method includes a process of adding 0.4-0.75 pts.wt. of a solid lubricant to 100 pts.wt. of metal base powders. The solid lubricant is produced by preparing a liquid lubricant through a high-temperature agitation process comprising blending 60-70 wt.% of ethylene-bis-stearamide and 30-40 wt.% of erucic acid amide at 150-170°C and by cooling and pulverizing. Thereby, a high-density molding body is produced while minimizing the content of the lubricant added to the metal base powders and also maintaining the levels of molding and taking-out energies equal to or more improved than heretofore.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
