PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the flash time of an external flash lamp.SOLUTION: A method of controlling the flash time of an external flash lamp is used when an external flash lamp is combined with a mobile device to supplement light during photographing. The method includes inspecting a specific event prior to a flashable period. The flashable period means a period from an exposure start time of a rearmost row photosensitive member of a specific frame to an exposure end time of a first row photosensitive member of the specific frame. An occurrence time of the specific event has a fixed time length relative to the flashable period. After a predetermined delay time elapses since the specific event, a flashing instruction is triggered, which makes the flash time of the external flash lamp fall within the flashable period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
