The purpose of the present invention is to provide a converting apparatus, in which elements related to high speed communications are separately modularized, and a display system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the display system comprises: an image signal input device which converts an image signal inputted as a parallel signal into a serial signal and transmits the serial signal; a converting device which receives the serial signal, which is obtained by converting the image signal, and converts the received serial signal into the parallel signal; and a display device which processes and displays the parallel signal, which is obtained by converting the serial signal, wherein the converting device is detachable from and attachable to the display device. |
