According to the present invention, a method for operating a location tracking service on the basis of a WIFI beacon by using a computer system comprising a server computer connected, through a network, to at least one of a WIFI beacon signal generator, a guardian terminal, an observer terminal and an operator terminal: receives an intervention request signal transmitted from the guardian terminal so as to transmit an activation signal for activating a monitoring application installed in the observer terminal in a predicted search range when an ward deviates from a guard range such that no WIFI beacon signal is received from the WIFI beacon signal generator or a WIFI beacon signal becomes weak; and receives a location signal of the observer terminal or a location signal of the WIFI beacon signal generator from the observer terminal when a WIFI beacon signal of the WIFI beacon signal generator is sensed in the monitoring range of the observer terminal by the activated monitoring application of the observer terminal, and transmits a missing person discovery signal to the guardian terminal. |
