PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which alleviates an image quality defect due to variation in the light quantity distribution and is reduced in size.SOLUTION: A color printer 1 comprises: a developing device 32 which develops an electrostatic latent image on the surface of a photoreceptor drum 30 to a toner image; and a static eliminator 35 which removes an electric charge of a photosensitive layer 41 of the photoreceptor drum 30 by irradiating with light. The developing device 32 includes a developing roller 54 in which the surface of a substrate 70 is coated with a coat layer 71 by immersing the substrate 70 in the standing posture with one end in the longitudinal direction facing downward in a coating material. The static eliminator 35 includes a single light source 45 which is arranged on the other end side of the photoreceptor drum 30 and a light guide body 46 which makes the light emitted from the light source 45 incident from the other end surface and radiates it toward the photoreceptor drum 30. The developing roller 54 is provided so as to face the surface of the photoreceptor drum 30 with the other end in the longitudinal direction being the upper side at the time of immersion facing the other end side of the photoreceptor drum 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
