The invention relates to a method for foreign object detection for an induction charging device (10) having an oscillating circuit (24), in particular for a hand-held machine tool, wherein a resonant frequency (fR) and an associated actual quality (QI(fR)) of the oscillating circuit (24) are detected and, subsequently, the actual quality (QI(fR)) is compared with a set quality (QS(fR)) that is dependent on the resonant frequency (fR) and a decision is being made about the presence of a foreign object (11) on the basis of a defined desired quality range (qs). According to the invention, the method provides that in particular during the wireless energy transmission an internal temperature (T) of the induction charging device (10) is detected and the actual quality (QI(fR)) is multiplied with a correction factor (K) based on the internal temperature (T). The invention further relates to an induction charging device (10) having an oscillating circuit (24), a control and regulating unit (22) and at least one temperature sensor (36) for carrying out the method according to the invention. |
