摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve exhaust emission performance and to prevent combustion noise while securing ignitability in compression ignition, in a compression ignition type engine.SOLUTION: A control device of a compression ignition type engine discharges a part of a combustion gas by internal EGR means to a specific intake passage (intake port 161) as a part of a plurality of intake passages connected to one cylinder 18, when an operating state of an engine body (engine 1) is in a high load region in a compression ignition combustion region, injects a predetermined amount of fuel into the specific intake port by a port injector 68, introduces a part of the combustion gas to the intake passage (intake port 162) excluding the specific intake passage by external EGR means (EGR passage 50), and supplies the remaining amount of fuel into the cylinder by a second injector (direct-injection injector 67).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
