PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GE-PON system capable of performing restoration processing after communication disconnection in a short time for a subscriber side terminal device with authentication registration completed.SOLUTION: In a GE-PON system in an embodiment, a quantization window 20 is provided at the anterior half of a discovery window 10, and a free discovery window 30 is provided at the posterior half. The quantization window 20 is divided into a plurality of identification slots 21. When the authentication registration of an ONU 120 is newly conducted, MPCP processing is performed using the free discovery window 30, and then an unused identification slot 21 is allocated. On the other hand, in restoration processing after communication disconnection, the ONU 120 with authentication registration completed returns a registration request signal 52 to an identification slot 21 allocated to the ONU 120 on receiving a GATE signal 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
