An endoscope 1 comprises: an insertion part 2 that extends toward a distal end from an operation part 3 and is provided with a bending part 12; a plurality of drawing members 23, 25 provided in the insertion part 2 and the operation part 3 from the bending part 12; a disc member 21 that is rotatably provided inside the operation part 3, on the periphery of which the plurality of drawing members 23, 25 is laid, and which draws and slackens the plurality of drawing members 23, 25 by rotating; operation members 4, 5 that are rotatably provided on the operation part 3 and rotates the disc member 21 to bend and operate the bending part 12; and a rotating shaft 22 that, in an initial state where the bending part 12 is linear, pivotally supports the disc member 21 and operation members 4, 5 with respect to the operation part 3 in a position where the rotating shaft 22 is offset toward the distal end side by a predetermined distance d relative to the center of the disc member 21. |
