PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraluminal device capable of effectively occluding or contracting a dilated vein.SOLUTION: An intraluminal device 130 for treating a vein 150, includes a long outer sheath 132, an inner tube 134 disposed inside the outer sheath 132, and an expandable expansion member 144. The expansion member 144 is disposed between a distal part of the long outer sheath 132 and a distal part of the inner tube 134, the inner tube 134 is fixed to the distal part of the expandable expansion member 144, and the distal part of the long outer sheath 132 is fixed to the expansion member 144. The expansion member 144 includes a plurality of spiral contact members 148 elongated along the axial direction, in the circumferential direction. The distal part of the expansion member 144 comes close to a proximal part of the expansion member 144 by the axial movement of the inner tube 134 with respect to the long outer sheath 132, so that the contact members 148 bend outward in the radial direction to expand the expansion member 144.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
