<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of suppressing the occurrence of a mechanical sound of a mechanical relay when receiving calling party information. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine 1 which receives calling party information of the calling side informed from a switching machine 71 includes: a modem 39; a CML relay 16 connected between a pair of contact points 12A, 12B, for forming a first closed loop RL1 detectable by the switching machine 71; a second closed loop RL2, including the pair of contact points without including the CML relay, undetectable by the switching machine; a DP call originating circuit 60 for forming a third closed loop RL3, including the pair of contact points without including the CML relay, detectable by the switching machine, when a photo coupler 63 is on; a main controller 29; and a signal detector 38. The main controller detects a CAR signal in a state that the CML relay is made open and the photo coupler is off. On detecting the CAR signal, the main controller maintains the CML relay to be open and switches the photo coupler on, to allow the modem to receive the calling party information through the second closed loop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
