<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type image formation apparatus capable of forming an image with higher picture quality on a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A wet type image formation apparatus that forms an image on a recording medium P conveyed in a conveyance direction AR comprises an image carrier 7 that carries a toner image 2T containing toner particles, a transfer roller 8 that forms a nip part N between itself and the image carrier 7 by being pressed against the image carrier 7, and a charging device 9 arranged on the upstream side of the nip part N in a conveyance path AL. The charging device 9 applies an electric charge to the recording medium P from a recording face P1 side before the toner image 2T is electrostatically transferred to the recording face P1. On the upstream side of the nip part N in the conveyance path AL, the surface potential of the recording medium P and the potential of the toner particles of the toner image 2T carried by the image carrier 7 are the same with each other, or the surface potential of the recording medium P is higher than the potential of the toner particles of the toner image 2T carried by the image carrier 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
