<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for an electrochemical cell, capable of maintaining a state where an inside of an outer packaging body is sealed in a high-temperature condition. <P>SOLUTION: A packaging material 110 for an electrochemical cell includes at least a base material layer 111, a metal foil layer 113, an acid-modified polyolefin layer 114 and a polyolefin layer 115 which are laminated in order.
