A light adjusting device comprises an operating part; a light adjusting controlling part; a light adjusting lower limit setting part; and a mode switching part. The operating part is operated by a user. The light adjusting controlling part is configured to determine an expected light adjusting level within a light adjusting range according to operations of the operating part, and to control electric power supplied to an illumination load so as to lightening up the illumination load to the determined light adjusting level. The light adjusting lower limit setting part is configured to adjust the electric power supplied to the illumination load at a lower limit of the light adjusting range. The mode switching part is configured to switch an operating mode of the light adjusting device into a lightening mode or an adjusting mode, wherein the light adjusting controlling part in the lightening mode lightens the illumination load and adjusts light of the illumination load according to the operations of the operating part, and the light adjusting lower limit setting part in the adjusting mode adjusts the electric power supplied to the illumination load at the lower limit of the light adjusting range according to the operations of the operating part. |
