PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for a door locking device for a vehicle having a lever driving mechanism in which an inside opening lever drives a lock operation lever toward an unlocked position from a locked position when an indoor side door handle is operated for opening a door, the technology being effective for optimizing an inside opening lever operation when the lock operation lever is driven by force toward the locked position.SOLUTION: A locking mechanism 120 of a door locking device 100 for a vehicle includes a lever energization mechanism 130 that energizes an inside opening lever 121 toward an initial position using a contacting load on the inside opening lever 121 exerted by a lock operation lever 124, when the inside opening lever 121 is at the furthest position in the greatest range of operation and is in contact with the lock operation lever 124 that is driven toward the locked position from the unlocked position.
