PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base for an electrical equipment storage cabinet, which relaxes vibrations and which prevents the electrical equipment storage cabinet from collapsing due to earthquake ground motion.SOLUTION: A base for an electrical equipment storage cabinet includes a base body 2 comprising upper and lower cases 3 and 4. The upper and lower cases 3 and 4 are connected together via a vibration-proof member 9 and a viscoelastic body 6. Additionally, the viscoelastic body 6 is arranged between a vertical plane of the upper case 3 and a vertical plane of the lower case 4 in such a manner as to bring about vertical shearing. |
