A method using a communications terminal and this having key rotation detection function of sensing magnetic force by N pole of the magnet equipped in a dial key and south pole and determining the rotational direction and rotational degree of the dial key are provided to sense magnetic force by the magnet equipped in dial key. A dial key(131) includes a plurality of magnets(131-1-4) including N pole and south pole. A plurality of magnetic maintains constant distance with adjacent magnetic. The dial key is rotated in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction according to the manipulation of a user. A sensor(141) is equipped on a circuit board(142) comprised the layer structure of being isolated from the dial key. The rubbing friction according to the manipulation of the dial key does not break out.
