A method of replacing wind turbine equipment (5), can reduce the cost for replacing large equipment disposed in a nacelle, is provided. The method is characterized by including a winch-hoisting step (S1) for winching up to a nacelle (3) a reciprocating winch (41) that is used for replacing the wind turbine equipment disposed in the nacelle mounted atop a tower (2) and a balance (61) supporting the wind turbine equipment with an ordinarily-installed winch (31) provided on a girder (14) that moves in the nacelle; a wire-hoisting step (S2) for hoisting a wire that is used for the replacement of the wind turbine equipment (5) to the nacelle (3) from a drum (73) disposed on the ground; a winch-replacing step (S3) for detaching the ordinarily-installed winch (31) from the girder (14) and attaching the winch for replacement to the girder; and a wire-arranging step (S4) for arranging the hoisted wire on the reciprocating winch (41) and a movable pulley (48) provided between the balance (61) and the girder (14).
