<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular AC motor device that can reduce torque ripples and various noises. <P>SOLUTION: When driving a motor 3 having stator coils consisting of first and second three-phase windings 31, 32 each wound by the distributed winding, a first three-phase inverter 1 applies a first three-phase voltage to a first three-phase winding 31, while a second three-phase inverter 2 applies a second three-phase voltage to a second three-phase winding 32. The phase windings of the three-phase windings 31, 32 are each wound apart by π/6 from each other. A control circuit 4 forms PWM drive signals for the PWM drive control of switching elements of the first and second three-phase inverters 1, 2, but the PWM drive signals are formed in such a manner that one state transition and the other inverse state transition overlap of the two PWM drive signals applied to the two phase windings wound apart by π/6.
