PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a motorcycle capable of securing anti-friction performance and with improved steering stability at the time of turning compared to a conventional one by improving a gripping force. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire for a motorcycle has a carcass 2 extending like a toroid between a pair of bead parts, a belt layer 3 arranged outside a tire in a radial direction, and a tread part 12 arranged outside the tire in the radial direction. In the tread part, a 50% area of a tread width with a tire equatorial plane as a center is a tread center part, and 25% areas of the tread width on both sides are tread side parts. Furthermore, the tread side parts are equally divided into three. When the divided areas are designated as an area A, an area B and an area C from the tread end, an average elastic modulus of the tread rubber in the area B at the time of 10% elongation at 40°C is higher than an average elastic modulus of the tread rubber in the areas A and C at the time of 100% elongation at 40°C.
