FIELD: railway transport; brake systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed brake shoe contains metal skeleton with projection in its central part, composite friction member and solid insert. Shoe is furnished with two flat heat insulating elements fitted at both sides from insert between insert and friction member and overlapping zone of their contact inside shoe over width and height of shoe. Brake shoe has metal skeleton with projection in its central part, composite friction member and solid insert. Shoe is provided additionally with open slots at both sides from insert between insert and friction member and overlapping zone of their contact inside shoe in width and height of shoe. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of shoe owing to changing of its design to increase thermal stability by preventing heat cracks in body of friction member and burning in place of contact with cast iron insert in manufacture and service. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
