<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid filter for an automatic transmission enabling size reduction, while securing a required and sufficient filtering area. <P>SOLUTION: This fluid filter for an automatic transmission includes: an upper side case 3 having a flow-out opening 2; a lower side case 5 forming a filter chamber S between the upper side case 3 and the lower side case 5 and having a flow-in opening 4; and a filter material 7 arranged in the filter chamber. The filter material 7 is formed into a cylindrical shape, and is arranged in the filter chamber S in such a state that axial directional end sides of the filter material 7 is pinched between the upper side case 3 and the lower side case 5, to partition the inside of the filter chamber S into a first chamber (a clean chamber 11) on an inner peripheral side of the filter material 7 and a second chamber (a dusty chamber 12) on an outer peripheral side of the filter material 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
