PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programming device simply and efficiently creating an NC program for applying turning process and milling process to a workpiece.SOLUTION: The programming device 1 includes: a machining region recognition section 13 for recognizing a plurality of machining regions based on three-dimensional model data; a workpiece division section 14 for setting a plurality of structures obtained by dividing the workpiece in an axial direction thereof; a connection relationship recognition section 15 for recognizing the connection relationship between the individual machining regions; a machining region list creation section 17 for creating the machining region list where the structures, the machining regions, machining types, and the connection relationships are associated with each other by recognizing either one of a machining type related to the turning process and a machining type related to the milling process which correspond to the machining regions of the structures; a machining process setting section 20 for setting a machining process corresponding to either one of the machining type related to the turning process and the machining type related to the milling process with respect to the individual machining regions; and an NC program creation section 22 for creating the NC program. |
