PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of reducing bulk in a thickness direction of a heat exchanger by forming a pipe member in a single stage, being satisfactorily mounted under the floor of an automobile, and preventing breakage of the pipe member by fly rock in running. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger includes a plurality of fin members 3 formed as corrugated fins and having engagement recesses 8 on a curved sections 6, and the pipe member 1 formed by connecting straight pipe sections 2 disposed through the fin members 3 by U-shaped bent sections 5. An outer diameter of the pipe member 1 is 8-12 mm, and a facing distance 17 of the fin members 3 is 0.5-5.0 mm in a state that the straight pipe sections 2 are engaged with the engagement recesses 8 of the fin members 3. Formula of y≥2.46x-<SP>0.29</SP>(y is protrusion height of fin members 3 from surface of pipe member 1/facing distance 17 of curved top sections 15, and x is facing interval 17 of curved top sections 15), is satisfied when the protrusion height of the fin members 3 is 11 mm or less, and the facing interval 17 is within a range of 0.5-5.00 mm.
