PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio access point device which is connected to a plurality of types of radio slave units and which allows the radio slave units to use an optimal SSID automatically.SOLUTION: The radio access point device includes: a radio slave unit determination part 26 which determines the type of the radio slave unit when connection is requested from the radio slave unit; a setting management part 25 which manages setting information of an SSID; and a connection SSID determination part 27 which determines the SSID having the setting information closest to the optimal setting information which is predetermined to the type of the radio slave unit as the optimal SSID to the radio slave unit, on the basis of the type of the radio slave unit determined by the radio slave unit determination part 26 and the setting information of the SSID managed by the setting management part 25. The response in accordance with the SSID determined by the connection SSID determination part 27 is transmitted to the radio slave unit.
