PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-point bending test device capable of preventing axial force from acting on a test material and highly accurately measuring pure bending characteristics of the test material.SOLUTION: A bending test device includes: extension jigs 2a and 2b respectively attached to both ends of a test material 1; a pair of support columns 8a and 8b for supporting outer side ends of the respective extension jigs 2a and 2b freely rotatably around first spindles 10a and 10b; and a pair of elevating/lowering columns 9a and 9b for supporting inner side ends of the respective extension jigs 2a and 2b freely rotatably around second spindles 16a and 16b. The pair of support columns 8a and 8b are disposed freely slidably in a longitudinal direction of the test material 1 respectively, and one elevating/lowering column 9a of the pair of elevating/lowering columns 9a and 9b is disposed freely slidably in the longitudinal direction of the test material 1. By synchronously operating the pair of elevating/lowering columns 9a and 9b, and pushing up the inner side ends of the respective extension jigs 2a and 2b in a vertical direction, the test material 1 is deformed. |
