Provided is an OCXO having a high degree of stability regarding output frequency. An oscillator (1A) that is an OCXO, wherein crystal-oscillating elements (10, 20), oscillating circuits (1, 2), a temperature detecting unit (53), and a heater circuit (50) are provided to the inside of a first container (41) supported floating inside a second container (42), and a voltage-stabilizing circuit (6) for stabilizing the voltage of a power source supplied to the heater circuit (50) is provided inside the second container (42) set apart from the first container (41). Accordingly, the voltage of the power source supplied to the heater circuit (50) is stabilized, and the voltage-stabilizing circuit (6) is not susceptible to the effects of heat generated from the heater circuit (50). This yields a stable output oscillation frequency regardless of the environment temperature. |
