PURPOSE:To sufficiently feed a conducting liquid to the periphery of a contact section as far as it is stored in a hollow section and obtain a long life by making at least part of a fixed lead hollow and providing a through hole facing the contact section of a movable lead. CONSTITUTION:This switch is constituted of a fixed lead 1 and a movable lead with a contact 3. The fixed lead 1 has a hollow section 9 and has a through hole 8 at the portion facing the contact face of the contact 3 on the movable lead 2, and a conducting liquid 4 is held in the hollow section 9. The conducting liquid 4 wetting the surface of a contact section, i.e., the fixed lead 1, movable lead 2 and its contact 3, is fed from the hollow section 9 through the through hole 8 and forms a film. Even if the conducting liquid 4 is scattered from the contact section every time the contact is opened or closed, the conducting liquid 4 is supplied to the surface of the contact section from the hollow section 9 through the through hole 8. The conducting liquid 4 is not exhausted as far as it is held in the hollow section 9, and the life is extended. |
