PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of suppressing torque ripple of a motor.SOLUTION: A motor control device 6 comprises: current sensors 76-78 that detects respective current values of respective phases of a motor 51; a rotation angle sensor 9 that detects a rotation angle &thetas;e of the motor 51; and a microcomputer 61 that controls driving of the motor. The microcomputer 61 selects, on the basis of a rotation angle &thetas;e of the motor, phase current values of two phases having relatively large influence on a q-axis current value of the motor 51; detects the selected phase current values of the two phases on the basis of output signals Su-Sv to which the current sensors 76-78 correspond respectively; and estimates a phase current value of the remaining one phase on the basis of the detected phase curent values of the two phases. Further the microcomputer 61 converts the detected phase current values of the two phases and the estimated phase current value of the one phase into a d-axis current value and a q-axis current value using the detected rotation angle &thetas;e of the motor; and controls the driving of the motor 51 on the basis of the d-axis current value and the q-axis current value. |
