A catheter assembly (10) is provided with: a catheter (12); and a catheter hub (14) having a hollow part (22) which communicates with the lumen (12a) of the catheter (12). Moreover, the catheter assembly (10) is provided with: a hemostasis valve (24) which is provided to the hollow part (22) and has a slit (52) that can open and close; and a plug (30) which can be inserted into the slit (52). A closing head part (54) for closing the slit (52) while the slit (52) is in an inserted state and an opening torso part (56) for opening the slit (52) by having a different shape or phase with regard to the closing head part (54) are provided at different positions in the axial direction of the plug (30). |
