Disclosed are a system and a method for tracking an area of a marine structure. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for tracking an area of a marine structure comprises: an image collection unit which is connected to cameras separately installed at entrances by area in the marine structure and collects image information captured when a passenger comes into and out of the marine structure; a central server which recognizes a passenger′s face and an unique identification number assigned to each passenger based on the image information collected in the image collection unit, and tracks a passenger′s location by area in the marine structure by cross-checking the recognized information; and a monitoring unit which receives passenger tracking information from the central server and displays the information in real time when the passenger moves between areas. |
