The present invention relates to an arc welding voltage detecting system and a voltage detecting method. The system comprises a voltage distributor (81) reducing the size of a voltage detected from arc welding but distributing the voltage; a low frequency filter (82) filtering only a signal of start and termination parts of the voltage distributed from the voltage distributor (81); an operation amplifier (83) controlling the resistance of the filtered voltage and then amplifying the voltage at a signal-processible voltage level to apply the voltage to a Schmitt trigger (85); a DC voltage shift (84) comprising a number of diodes (D) and resistors (R) but laminating + voltage of the voltage, distributed to the operation amplifier (83), in each of diodes (D) to supply the voltage to make the voltage, distributed to the operation amplifier (83), become 0V-5V; and a Schmitt trigger (85) converting the voltage, amplified by the amplifier (83), into a signal-processible square wave. Since the voltage, measured during arc welding, is outputted without the omission of loss and determination information but only the signal of the start and termination parts of the voltage is separately detected and removed, an error of the voltage is not made, and therefore, accuracy and reliability are secured. |
