PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worm reduction mechanism which reduces a load applied to a bearing to enable smooth driving while eliminating backlash between gears and provide a pan head device using the same.SOLUTION: A worm reduction mechanism includes a worm 5 and a worm wheel. The worm reduction mechanism further includes: a first holding member 7 integrally holding a motor 9 driving the worm 5 and bearings 12 which pivotally support the worm 5 at both sides; a second holding member 6 which holds the first holding member 7; and a first biasing member 14 which is provided between the first holding member 7 and the second holding member 6 and biases the first holding member 7 toward the worm wheel. |
