CONNECTION ADMISSION CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS IN RELAY NETWORK

Disclosed are a connection admission control method in a relay network, and an apparatus thereof. The connection admission control apparatus is configured to calculate an average and a standard deviation of resource usage rates based on distribution of an available capacity and an arrival rate in each of a backhaul subframe and an access subframe of a transmission path between a base station and a terminal, to determine the maximum number of available connections while maintaining overflow probability to be equal to or less than a threshold, and to provide a communication service for at least one terminal within a range of the determined maximum number of available connections.
